Photography is my chosen art medium, it opens up my eyes and allows me to explore the world in a way which I might normally overlook. For me, I am most interested in us… Humans. How we inhabit the planet, how we have left our imprint on the landscape. I am drawn to landscapes which feature elements of humanity, landscapes which are multifaceted areas of nature and mankind.
When I have my camera in my hand I like to detach myself from my usual thoughts, I will usually be caught up in thoughts of the past and future, when I have my camera I will focus purely on the present. This is why I love photography, it is a tool for me to analyse and explore the world, take a step back and live in the moment, observe and capture a snippet of fleeting time.
